Making Mistakes...

Guess what? You don't have to be perfect!

So many of us hold onto this ideal picture of how we are "supposed' to be, or how we are "supposed" to act or even feel.

Well I am here to tell you today that there are NO rules! Holding onto this higher than perfection view on others and ourselves has no bearing at all except that it is likely to consistently make you feel like your failing!

So what exactly are you failing at? Being perfect? What is perfect? What if I told you that you are perfect, just the way you are! No hidden gems, just you, doing the best you can each day to be the best version of yourself each day.

Yes, I'm sure, in fact absolutely positive that mistakes have been made, but you wouldn't have learnt any other way! We are meant to make mistakes! There I said it! Everyone can take a breathe, a sigh of relief! We are not meant to be "perfect"!

When we look back on times gone by and think what a terrible choice we made, or my biggest regret is.....let's face it, we are all professionals in hindsight! Yes maybe we could have handled things differently, but the truth is, at that specific moment in time, we did exactly what we thought was best! There was no judgement, just a decision that was made with the knowledge we had at that specific time! We did not know then what we know now and we would not know now if we had not made that decision then!

We are here to learn! Each day is a new opportunity to learn something new! Each day is a new opportunity to let go of what we believe to be correct but instead allow each day to present us with something new to be grateful for! To allow LOVE in and embrace each and every second of it. To be present in the now and trust that we are exactly where we are supposed to be.

There are No rules at all! What you feel is completely unique to YOU! Yes YOU, and this life that you are living is all about YOU! Acceptance is key, its time to throw away the judgement!

With all my Love,

Kelly xo
